Holy cow, ever try to get a straight answer out of a Kubota dealer?? Doubletalk perfected.
Help me here guys, does the bl4690a backhoe connect to a subframe or only to a 3pt hitch? Anyone have experience with this unit? I want to put one on a Kubota L3010.

Latest information on backhoe:
Got in touch with Kubota Dealer Technical Support and the straight skinny is that on the 3000 models no sub frame is
used and no hardened parts are needed for the backhoe.

I'm OK with my Kelly 3ph mount hoe. The mount does distribute some load onto the drawbar, which also locks the 3ph down. A lock-down is essential, and I think few if any 3ph mounts are going to be just top and bottom link pins. I've got to assume those engineers do engineer and it's wasted energy for me to ponder design issues I don't understand. I just try to keep in mind that it is possible to abuse and to defeat any reasonable design, so I just avoid 'power mentality' when I'm using the hoe. ....
